From organised stacks of gear lined up on the harbour, to lost, discarded, frayed and weathered tangles washed up by the tide and caught up on the rocks. Although clearly undesirable and seriously damaging to the marine environment, these tangles of rope, plastic, and rusted metal become engaging studies in texture and colour.
